Data We Obtain From Third Parties

If you give us your LinkedIn profile URL, we retrieve your public LinkedIn profile to build the short professional summary shown to the people you are matched with. This step is optional — Havem works without it, and if you leave the field blank we use only your name and what you tell us yourself.

We use a third-party service, Atlac, to retrieve that public profile data on our behalf. From it we obtain and store:

• Your name, headline, and location as they appear on your public profile
• Your current role and employer, and your public career history
• A copy of your public profile photo, stored as an image on our own servers rather than linked from LinkedIn
• A short summary written by an AI model from the information above

Google Calendar (Optional)

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, we ask Google for permission to create calendar events on your behalf. We use this only to add a meeting to your calendar when a call is booked, together with a Google Meet video link for that call.

To add the meeting later — after you have closed the browser — we store an encrypted copy of a Google refresh token on our own servers. It is kept encrypted at rest and is never shared. You can disconnect at any time from your profile, which revokes the token at Google and deletes our stored copy.

Connecting is entirely optional. If you do not connect, nothing changes for you — we send you a calendar invite by email instead, so you can add the call to any calendar.

How We Use Data

Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

We share data only with:

• Service providers (hosting, email, analytics) under contract
• Other participants in matches/events you join
• Authorities when legally required

Data Retention

We keep data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and operational purposes.
